My Daily Napkin
Effective date: July 2026
Almost nothing. My Daily Napkin does not require an account, does not connect to any server, and does not track you in any way.
The only information the app stores is what you choose to keep — and it never leaves your device:
All of this is stored locally on your iPhone. We have no access to it.
The app does not make any network requests on your behalf. There is no backend, no database, and no cloud sync.
My Daily Napkin uses local notifications only — your iPhone schedules them directly, without any server involvement. We never send push notifications from our end. Your notification preferences stay on your device.
You can disable notifications at any time from your iPhone settings or from within the app.
When you export your "My Napkins" notes, the app creates a plain text file on your device and opens iOS's standard sharing sheet. Where that file goes is entirely your choice — we have no involvement in or visibility into that process.
My Daily Napkin does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no personal data from any user, there is nothing specific to children to address.
If we ever make meaningful changes to how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Given the nature of this app, we do not anticipate significant changes.
